About Company

Our flagship development is the 40 MW Hannan Arya Solar Power Project, located in Isinya, Kajiado County. Initially approved as a 10MW, expandable to 40MW, the proposed solar power plant is situated approximately 4.5 kilometres from the Isinya Substation, providing an attractive location for grid connection and large-scale renewable energy generation.

The project is designed to harness Kenya’s abundant solar resource and contribute clean electricity to the national power system.

Renewable Energy Project Development

Hannan Arya Energy provides end-to-end project development capabilities for renewable energy projects, from early-stage opportunity identification through to project readiness and implementation. Our development activities include site assessment, feasibility studies, technical planning, regulatory coordination, commercial structuring and stakeholder engagement.

Solar Power Development

We specialize in the development of utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects designed to convert Kenya's abundant solar resource into reliable clean electricity.

Project Feasibility & Development

Grid connectivity is a critical component of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Our Current Major Projects

40MW Hannan Arya Solar Power

The project is located in Isinya, Kajiado County-Kenya. The project is ready for development with all necessary permits and approvals in place. The proposed project site comprises approximately 1,000 hectares of land owned by the developer and is strategically located approximately 4.5 kilometers from Isinya substation.

200MW Umoja-Rumuruti in Laikipia County

The project is being developed as a 200 MW solar PV power plant, with the proposed generation capacity positioned to supply large volumes of clean electricity to the national grid. The PPA is still under negotiation and is expected to conclude soon.

Solar Street Lighting

Decarbonization of Urban Road Infrastructure Using Solar Street Lighting is a strategic clean-energy initiative aimed at transforming the way Kenya's urban roads, highways, streets, pedestrian corridors and public spaces are illuminated.
